Silky gloss lacquer is a transparent or coloured lacquer with a silky gloss, protecting the painted surface against external influences without affecting the aspect of the surface. Amongst others, a silky gloss laquer must be resistant to sunlight (UV radiation), humidity and mechanical abrasion (scratches) and garantee these features for many years.

This product category has a medium brillancy grade, so that the painting can be wiped-off more easily than with normal mat colours. In addition, this lacquer is resistant to abrasion and batches and therefore ideal for kitchens, baths and other areas with intensive use (like e.g. corridors, children's rooms). This kind of finish is also called “off-white brillancy ”.
