High gloss lacquer is a transparent or coloured lacquer with high gloss, covering the painted surface against external influences without affecting the aspect of the surface. Amongst others, a high gloss laquer must be resistant to sunlight (UV radiation), humidity and mechanical abrasion (scratch) and garantee these features for many years.

This gloss grade reflects the light and gives the surface a very smooth and glossy appearance. This painting has the advantage that it can hardly be polluted. However, glossy surfaces tend to accentuate imperfections. Therefore glossy colours are seldom used to paint whole walls. However, they are ideal for wooden objects in the whole house.
